"I've started taking the Prednisone.
My diet was already " low residual" and I was already taking pain meds.
This is a different pain than I experienced from my " Whipple Attacks", but, it's manageable so far.
I'm experiencing a lot of bloating and gas. I've actually gained a few pounds and feel pretty energetic, given all the meds!
Mentally, I was pretty devastated at first. I know how important it is to keep the boogieman away so I got over it quick. We have a saying in the Whipple Warriors group ...

  1. Hi . Glad you are feeling positive. I just shared some information for you under a different post regarding your Crohn's diagnosis. I do want to note that, while they share many symptoms, IBD and Whipple disease are different conditions, with different causes.
