"I had my second loading dose of Remicade on Monday. Half way through the infusion my right arm where the IV was started hurting, I didn't really think anything about it til my chest started hurting and my left arm was hurting, I could feel my heart pulsing threw my whole body, I got stabbing pains throughout my body. I was hurting so bad there were tears streaming down my face. The tech asked if I was OK and I said no. All my vitals were good, but I ended up on the ER. They don't know what happened they did lots of blood work and several EGGS and everything looked good. I don't know where my journey will lead to now. Its Wednesday and I haven't heard anything from my IBD specialist."
I'm sure this whole experience has been very scary for you and waiting on answers can also be really stressful. Do you have any follow up appointments scheduled with your doctors?
