"Im still alive and still fighting. This last year has been real rough. I once told doctors I would out live all of them, after they told my parents I would not see my twenties. That was 52 years ago! This disease may go into remission but the damage it does to the rest of your body AND mind leaves little chance to really know what a good day feels like. I have lost 4 other Crohns friends, all took their own lives because they could not deal with the pain or living in hospitals. Please forgive me for the downer story, just needed to let it out.
