"Hi! I have known that I had Crohn's Disease since I was 23 and I have just turned 65. Last week I had a colonoscopy to have a blockage/stricture removed that was formed from my last surgery. The doctor said that he can't believe that I could go to the bathroom at all because all there was was a pinhole from the scar tissue. I thought that I would be feeling better by now, but I am still having pain. But, I can now go to the bathroom again. I have never seen stool that looked like sand before. That was really strange! Here's to feeling better to all who are feeling bad right now!! Good night all!"

  1. Oh my gosh, what a story. The size of a pinhole? It's amazing what our bodies can do, right? I hope you today is a better day for you and that you are having less pain. Have you let your doctor know about the sand looking stool? I've never heard of that before. Sending strength and healing your way, Elizabeth (team member)

  2. oh bless you! I have had some really bad strictures in the past, which, like you, were a result of previous surgeries. They had to operate because they were were too tight and too close together to try and dilate. Good job they did, because when they got in there, the really long narrow one turned out to be a twist rather than a scar tissue stricture! The other was scar tissue, and they just did a resection to remove that. I feel your pain! I hope you're doing OK now!
