Mango Tango Smoothie

Mango Tango Smoothie

I am a huge fan of smoothies, not only for breakfast but for any meal of the day. They are easy to digest, convenient to eat (especially on the go!), and are full of essential vitamins and nutrients that we, as IBD patients, need.

This particular smoothie is a favorite of mine because of the sweet mango and tart cherries that offer a great flavor combination to wake up the tongue and body. Also, cherries contain anti-inflammatory properties and mangoes support a strong immune system, so these are two power-packed punches that we could all benefit from in our meals!
