Tropical Smoothie

This is one of my go-to breakfasts, and to be honest, lunch or dinner when short on time. It has everything to make a complete meal--protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs. And, adding a handful of spinach means I am getting that extra boost of iron that those with IBD like myself always need.

I hope you enjoy it, too!

Serves 1

Tropical smoothie ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 2 Tbsp. full fat coconut milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • Ice and water (for desired consistency)

Directions to make a tropical smoothie:

  1. Mix all ingredients in Blender of NutriBullet
  2. Enjoy immediately
