Have had Crohn’s for over 60 years

Have had Crohns for over 60 years. Resection done 25 years ago. Anal area very sensitive so that I avoid any invasive procedure. Afraid I could be developing a partial obstruction.

    Hi Ruthie,

I’m so sorry you are going through this right now. In addition to reading a blog post by Marisa, I would suggest getting in contact with your IBD specialist. It’s also important to journal your symptoms so that when you are in front of a doctor, you have all of the information they will need in order to treat you correctly.

    Hi @ruthie,

I also have Crohn’s. I was diagnosed in 2011, so it has been 7 years. Wow, 60 years with IBD. You are such a warrior!

One of our advocates, Marisa, wrote an article about her experience with a partial obstruction. Maybe this can help? Here is the link:

Wishing you the best in health.
