Crohn's Newbie

I have been living with a Crohn's diagnosis for just a month. I have always had digestive issues, some serious cramping and diarrhea here and there over the years that usually cleared up in a few days. Over the past couple of years I've had some pretty serious problems in my personal life and I think the stress finally started taking it's toll and allowed my disease to send me into my first serious flare. I started getting every bug that came my way and a few months ago my symptoms worsened. You know the ones. Severe stomach pain, diarrhea, bleeding, weight loss. etc. My primary care doctor set me up with with a GI and a colonoscopy showed I had some serious inflammation. He hit me with the news....Crohn's disease. Wait!!! This illness never goes away, it can't be happening to me! It is though. In the past couple of months my whole life has changed...
