Scary flare

So I had my first major flare since being diagnosed. I am typically constipated because of the iron I have to take. So when I have more bowel movements, then I know it is a minor flare. One night I woke up at about 2 am vomiting and had abdominal pain everywhere. I was curled up on the floor. My son took me to the ER and they did all of the CTs and everything came back normal even though I was in pain.

They gave me pain medication and sent me on my way. The pain did subside, and then came the diarrhea. I still have mild cramping and pain but nothing like that one night a few weeks ago.

The hardest part is the diet because diabetes requires me eat a certain way and Crohn's requires a certain diet but the two diets are not always compatible.
