My Daughter Has Crohn’s

My daughter was diagnosed at age 17… while in high school. That would have been around 1997. She’s had two surgeries 2006 and 2015… and I understand this is the norm… I want to learn more so I joined this site. I know a lot about this disease… my daughter was diagnosed just 3 months after first symptoms appeared… I’m very proactive about this… I do know a lot but want to learn MORE… so I’m here for that and to also help anyone I can with any info I have… thanks!

    Hi Jean,

It touches my heart that you are so proactive for your daughter. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s at age 21, and I always felt for my parents as I can’t imagine what it’s like to see a child go through such a grotesque disease.

I’m sure your daughter is so appreciative of your efforts and she is lucky to have you!

There is a lot of information on the site, so definitely check out the articles and use the search feature to type in key words you are specifically interested in.

Don’t hesitate to reach out, we are here for you and your daughter!

    Always dancing,
