Pyoderma gangrenosum

I have been dealing with a very rare disease. I have had Crohn's disease since 1998 and in 2000 I had to have surgery to remove most of my intestine and my anal. Then in 2009, I got 16 holes in my tummy, so I had to have another surgery to fix this. I have had a total of 58 surgeries since this all has started. Now I’m dealing with severe back pain and the doctor was going to try injections but once they found out about the pyoderma gangrenosum, I was told that I can’t have any injections because this will spread like wild fire! So now I’m looking for any help to ease my back pain. Any ideas? Please help!

I am so sorry you are dealing with these symptoms. I am still trying to process the fact that you have had 58 surgeries, goodness, you are one heck of a warrior. What a journey you have had and you continue to push forward--that is strength! For your back pain, have you tried CBD oil, or Copaiba oil? These oils are amazing at zapping inflammation. Also, I'm sure you've tried heating pads. I would also suggest staying away from inflammatory foods. Try cutting out dairy, grains and processed sugars. It will help relieve the pain.  Thank you Beth for your reply. No I haven’t tried staying away with some of those foods but at this point I’m willing to try anything! I’m very worried about having surgery tomorrow morning I’m really hoping to get the feeling back in my hand. It’s been numb since 2014 from a pinched nerve in my elbow. They wanted me to try to walk a block and I couldn’t even walk to much in the store without hurting so bad that I had to have my granddaughter check me out. I went to the car and was in tears because I was hurting so bad. I’ have heard about the oil my daughter has looked it up and after I have my surgery Im going to try it to hopefully will ease up some of the pain. I have heard from many people that it helps a lot. My brother has been using it for about a month now and he has cut is meds in half. He was back problems also. And if it helps him I’m sure it got to help me to. Thank you again for telling me about that I really appreciate it. Here’s hoping I start to feel better soon with both my back and hand! Maybe then I will be able to walk or even just sit up a little bit more.

 Yes! I am rooting for you. Try excluding those foods as they are inflammatory and absolutely try the CBD oil. You can purchase online. Get is ASAP so that you can use it during your recovery. Has anyone ever heard that there’s two types of pyoderma gangrenous? I just found that out myself after all these years. My doctor was the one who told me that I had the type that it’s my blood. So I hope that they don’t cancel my surgery tomorrow. Please pray for me!

Well had my surgery for my hand and it didn’t work! I have to see the surgeon today to get my staples out and will see what to do next. Thank you for telling me about the cbd oil I have got that and it does help out a lot for many problems. I’m able to rest much better and not have to take has many pain medication since I started using it.. I truly hope that others will try this also. Thank you everyone for your prayers.
