Sick of being sick

I was dx in 1999 after 2 yrs of being told I needed Prozac & therapy. I am allergic to remacaid, Humira & e-mycin. My actual dx is Crohn's Disease of sm & lg intestinal tract with duodenal involvement and Acquired Duodenal Stenosis. I'm in the 3rd week of a flare, non stop excruciating pain, and my spouse is sort of a jerk. Don't know how much longer I can do this. Have been referred to LSU-Tulane. Sick of being sick.

No, but my current gastro sent the recommendation to try it to the LSU dr he referred me to. Which sort of made me wonder why he didn't just try it instead of sending me to LSU to begin with. I think he's just tired of not being successful in treating me, taking it as a personal affront

I was diagnosed at Tulane hospital in new orleans, after huricane Katrina lsu and Tulane combined in the old lakeside hospital building. Not sure who they are asking you to see but Dr Robert bulat isn't the best, he doesn't have good bedside manor at all, if a dr hammer is still there go with him he is older and more compassionate, takes the time with you and will work with you on treatments, I can remember I was having reaction to remicaid and he was at a black tie affair with his wife and he left there to come to hospital to help me in my time of need , he won me over with his moto paitents were always 1st to him.if you have any questions feel free to ask me, I have been to every hospital in the new Orleans baton rouge area an awseome surgeon is a dr Richard Byrd, he is at last of the lake in baton rouge also a lady Dr named Amy lombrano at gastroenterology associates on Jefferson get in baton rouge

 I was referred to Dr DeFelice. She's a professor of gastro at LSU-Tulane. The latest issues are I have two stenosis, one at top on at bottom. Having trouble keeping anything down, nausea , vomiting etc. Current gastro (who referred me) was supposed to do a pre surgery colonoscopy. When he found I only got 2 bottles of magnesium citrate down, not 3, and that some of that came back up, he refused to do the procedure. I'm now in limbo, don't know what's next. They're telling me this is very serious, that the surgery is "tricky but necessary". I'm so screwed up, I don't know where to turn next
