What do you eat for breakfast?

  • By thedancingcrohnie Moderator

Mostly out of curiosity, what do you have for breakfast? Do you ever switch it up, or do you mostly have the same thing every morning?

I usually have eggs for breakfast. They don’t seem to bother me and are a good source of protein. I prefer to make an omelet, but always keep some hard boiled eggs in the fridge for when I’m in a hurry.

Thanks for sharing. I too used to do eggs, and then I got tired of them, and now they make me nauseous lol. But hard boiled eggs is a good idea.

Sometimes I get really adventurous and turn them into egg salad. 😉 I really know how to live it up.

Ah! I LOVE breakfast!! And I eat it for most meals 🙂

I have been on an oatmeal kick so I do plain, gluten free oats with Fairlife milk, sprinkle sea salt and cinnamon and throw in some fresh blueberries before heating it up.
Then, I top it with a drizzle of maple syrup and almond butter…so good!!

I also love smoothies and eat them for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner! I add a vegan protein powder to make them more filling, and typically do banana, avocado, pineapple and peaches, and spinach for extra iron!

And, now that I am pregnant, I am enjoying gluten free bagels about 2-3 times per week 😉

That all sounds so amazing! That smoothie in particular! How much avocado do you use? Half of one?
