Help
Hello , I’m pregnant 28 weeks and having a really hard time with my bowel .
My symptoms are going to the toilet and only passing mucus that can either be green , yellow , red or brown .
Constipation
Occasionally having diarrhoea
Sudden urge to use the toilet and not always passing anything .
More recently - stomach pains have started
2 episodes of bloody diarrea
Fatigue
Passing blood when going the toilet
I do have piles which is because of my pregnancy which I’ve been informed the blood could just been from that but the rest of of the symptoms are not due to piles .
Drs have been pretty useless in helping me and have sent my referral of now after contacting them many times . I’m just worried a lot about this now 🥺
My sister has Crohn’s disease.
Has anyone experience the same or similar symptoms?

, I'm so sorry to hear you're experiencing these symptoms, I know it can be scary when unknown symptoms occur, especially during pregnancy. I know you mention your doctors are useless, and I'm sorry to hear this. I do urge you, if you're able, to seek another doctor, especially if you're passing blood. Have you talked to your OBGYN about the possibility of hemorrhoids, or your other current symptoms? I hope you're able to find some answers soon. I do know a couple of people that have been diagnosed with IBD during or following pregnancy (with the flare beginning during). I think it's normal that your mind would lead you there with your sister having Crohn's disease already. At least the referral has been done now, so fingers crossed you get seen soon!
