IBD
Hi i was diagnosed with IBS 5 yrs ago but recently the symptoms have got worse , had blood tests all negative but my vowel sample as shown it is inflamed and the dr say he thinks i have IBD and sending me for a colonscopy my mane problem is Bad flatulence and tiredness plus rumbling stomach some diarrhea does anybody have these symptoms??
Yes, I am guessing you did a Fecal Calprotectin test? If it showed inflammation then that can absolutely point to IBD. Will you be getting a colonoscopy with biopsy soon? When I was first diagnosed I dealt with all the symptoms you have mentioned plus more like swollen ankles, blood in stool, vomitting/nausea and fever. -Elizabeth (team member)
