IBD Nurse

My IBD Nurse is awful! She isn't helpful, only calls when it suits her! Gives me and my GP conflicting information, and my medication is always short as she never does the correct prescription amount. Can I do anything? As I no longer want to deal with her.

  1. I am so sorry to hear that you are having to deal with this. Is there another nurse in the practice? Is it possible to speak with the doctor or office manager about what you are experiencing? Just some thoughts. I truly hope you can find a solution. Wishing you well. -Jessica, InflammatoryBowelDisease.net Team Member

    1. Hi, Well that truly sucks, though I have to agree with Jessica, maybe try and go through your GP or specialist and definitely try and request a different IBD nurse. I had this happen to me once and I asked my doctor if I could have someone else, no problems.
      Good luck!

      1. there's very little worse than not feeling heard, and having to go through the drama of constantly chasing medications and stuff is exhausting. When you're already sick, it's the last thing you need!!
I can't add any advice to what Vern and Jessica have suggested. I just wanted to let you know that I see you! 👀
