Pentasa reviews: Newly diagnosed

Does anyone have any feedback/experience to share about using Pentasa suppositories? For Ulcerative Colitis — proctitis. Mild.

I'm new to all of this... it would be good to hear some real person feedback.

Thanks!

    1. Hey! Welcome to the community! I know it can be overwhelming initially - so much unknown!! But, this site is fab and should answer many of your questions!
I'm always hesitant to share my experience with treatments because it's not really very relevant to you. IBD varies from person to person; what symptoms we experience, and the severity of them. Also, what triggers symptoms for people, and what foods we can tolerate differ too. What treatments help alleviate our symptoms is just as varied, and what helps one person with the same disease in the same area might not help another!
I have had suppositories but found the foam enemas better. I've had Pred foam too, which was also helpful.

        As a supplement you could..
Eat plant based (remember b12 mine is very low)
Try out CBD oils.. (if legal)
