Finding a solution to post surgery problems for ulcerated colitis.

My grandson had his colon removed and some of the colitis remained.
He is experiencing flare-ups every once in a while. I read somewhere that there is a Doctor (I think in Ohio) who has a solution to a problem like this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
