Food Combinations Causing Flares

Hello everyone,
Has anybody else found that foods when eaten separately cause no issue but when combined in the same dish seem to cause flares? I have this issue with tomato based items when combined with tuna. I can eat either in there own with no issue but if I have both in the same meal, I find it seems to cause a flare in symptoms for several days.

Curious if anyone else has found food combinations like this.

  1. Thank you for your question, . This doesn't sound uncommon, however, I would suggest keeping a food log just to be sure it isn't a coincidence and actually caused by something else you are eating that you don't realize. Keep a food log for 2-3 weeks and see if there is any correlation with foods like you mentioned above, or if perhaps you are eating something else that could cause symptoms.
