Are you making any changes in your self-care routine for 2020?

Whether it's a change in diet, symptom management, self-care, coping, etc. Do you have any new goals for your Crohn's or colitis care in the new year ahead?
Definitely! I am going to put more effort into making a meal plan and meal prepping. I find that when I don't have my meals planned out, that's when I get into trouble. Also, I want to exercise more regularly!

I'm with you on the meal prepping!! If I don't have meals planned out, by the end of the day, I find myself just eating whatevers in sight.. bad news bears. 😛 - Pam (team member)

Yes! It's when I am not prepared that I get into trouble with food choices!

I would like to start exercising more. I enjoy playing basketball and I have noticed when I exercise I feel much healthier.

Hi Pam! Transitioning into 2020 has been interesting because I also have an 8 month old, so my goals/plans must involve/work around her 😀 In terms of self care, sometimes just taking the time to wash my face and put on lotion feels like a few moments to relax, lol. Additionally, the more I can move around (with or without my daughter) the better I tend to be able to rest at night.
