Has anyone had success using Prilosec AC (active ingredient omeprazole) for IBD?
Has anyone had success using Prilosec AC (active ingredient omeprazole) for IBD? I ask because it seems to help for me. Tried to do some research, but could not find many studies on it for IBD. Thanks.

I have never used it before, I just use extra strength Tums. And I find I tend to only get heartburn when I eat something I shouldn't. For me personally the heartburn is like a warning. I hope others in the community chime in with their experiences.

Elizabeth (team member)Correction. I meant Prilosec OTC (Omeprazole is still active ingredient). It seems to help beyond heartburn. Like with abdominal pain and some other symptoms. Could be just me.
I have also tried Tums, that help a little, but the above works better in my case.nagin,
