Why do meds go straight through when taken right after eating?

They are there in the toilet floating. And yes some foods I eat seem to go straight through quite fast with 15 to 30 minutes. Proof is corn is easy to see and it could have been weeks before I had any previously . And I had just ate some in present meal. How does this happen?

  1. Hi ,

I have had the same issue in the past. It sounds like you have hyper motility. Have you spoken with your doctor about this? Also, try and see if there are any other alternatives for the ingesting of your meds. For example, can some of them be taken in a liquid form?

    1. Can't be taken in liquid form. Thanks for the response.
They were time release, but they still should not pass through my system so quickly.
I got the doc to change meds and help find other ways to control my medical problems.
Though some cannot be fixed or lessened with lifestyle changes.
Less meds has help with some nasty side effects. Such as l.j ess weigh gain. 😀

      1. I'm not sure why but I've had the same issue on many occasions. With vitamins, I do take liquid vitamins. Designs For Health has some that are quite good. Definitely worth following up with your doctor about this matter.
