Anyone get RA, Psoriasis, and develop a stomach issue around the same time?
Was diagnosed with RA & Psoriasis at age 17. Same time diagnosed with IBS.
However my symptoms sort of related to IBD, but tests do not show obvious IBD as what I have....
How odd is it that I got "2" diagnoses of inflammation BUT my gut isn't one of them?
Feel like I could be borderline just doesn't make sense to me...
I think your thinking is correct. What tests did you do for IBD? Did you have a colonoscopy with biopsies? Just before I got diagnosed with Crohn's, I had Psoriasis on my hand. -Elizabeth (team member)
Yeah all biopsies negative
I would suggest asking you GI for a pill cam test next. So colonoscopies only show the colon but the Pill Cam shows the entire GI system. It is possible you may have IBD in your small intestine. This test I've done before. It is a small camera inside a pill. You swallow it and it takes imaging of your GI system. You then just poop it out and flush it down the toilet when it's done. It's an easy test but a very necessary one. -Elizabeth (team member)
