Hoping to get a stoma bag fitted
Have IBS diverticular disease and recent operation for bowel blockage have to use an irrigation system to pass poo also have chronic constipation. Seeing consultant on 20th Oct and hopefully he will agree to fitting a stoma bag. My stomach is huge and so painfully hurts when I walk move cough and turn over in bed. Am feeling very anxious and depressed about my situation. Does anyone else have these problem s?

that makes sense. Better to have a thorough idea of what you're working with prior to any surgeries!
Have you had, or do you have the appointment for the proctogram now?
