pill cam
hey everyone! i totally forgot to ask my doctor this question so i thought i would ask everyone here cause im kinda freaking out. im getting the pill cam test done right now and when i came home i went straight to sleep cause it was early and i was tired, i was sleeping on my stomach making sure the transmitter wasnt squished under me, but would sleeping on my stomach mess up the results, like do something to the camera moving inside, i forgot to ask my doctor and now im scared i’ get unclear or wrong results or something 🙁( help if you know!!

, From what I remember when I did the pill cam, sleeping on my stomach was totally fine. Deep breaths. Phone your doctor when you can or contact them through their messaging system. Pretty sure you are fine though.

Hmmm, I was under the impression that the Pill Cam is not to be used for UC/Crohns dx or if previously dx'd with either. What am I missing here?
here in the UK, I know many people with IBD who have had the pill camera. You're often given a "dummy pill" first to ensure it won't get stuck anywhere when you have the real one. The dummy one obviously dissolved in your intestine if it does get stuck.
