Recent CT results

We got our CT results and was hoping to get some insight. Symptoms before CT were extreme fatigue, low grade fever and stomach pain. Had upper endoscopy, head, chest, stomach and pelvic CT, 40+ different blood tests, pipida scan, x-ray and stomach ultrasound.

Transverse colon courses inferiorly to the superior pelvis with apparent wall thickening and wall thickening of the distal sigmoid and rectum which may reflect colitis, which may be infectious or
related to inflammatory bowel disease.

  1. I am glad you got some answers @Randy3017. Do you and your care team have a treatment plan?

    1. No. I'm trying to understand what the CT results mean.

      1. colitis simply means inflammation of the colon, so they are questioning whether the colitis is ulcerative colitis (a form of IBD) or not. Where do they go from here? It sounds like you've had sooo many tests already. Have you had a colonoscopy and biopsies taken?
