Small lump in armpit
Hi everyone, I’ve just had a bath and was shaving my armpits when I noticed a lump in my armpit, just slightly to the side of the armpit, it feels a bit tender to the touch but not overly. Now I’m really worried because I straight away have feared the worse. Has anyone else had this. I’m currently experiencing a crohn’s flare too - my blood test recently showed that my inflammation is high again and of course getting all the symptoms along with that too so not the best of time for me right now 😔
sorry to hear that you are experiencing this. There are lymph nodes in armpits and can become swollen for a variety of reasons. Definitely reach out to your doctor Asap and get imaging. However, it also could be a swollen lymph node. But again, you won't know until you get proper testing by your medical team. Deep breaths. It might not be what you think. -Elizabeth (team member)
