Small, white spot on the right side of my throat, (tonsil) area, not very big. I tried to scrape it and some of the white came off, and resembled cottage cheese. I have never had any mouth sores from IBD. Have not had it checked out yet.

I don't believe it is IBD related. However, I used to get these before I was diagnosed! They are so strange and I came to find out that it is a bacterial infection. They are called Tonsil Stones. Gargle with salt water.
Hope this helps!

You can get them even if no tonsils? I tried to take a picture of it but was too blurry. I will try the salt water anyway, can't hurt! Thanks.

I am definitely no doctor, so I don't know the definite answer to that question--didn't realize you don't have your tonsils. It still sounds exactly what I used to have, though. I guess the only way to find out is to see a doc about it. But I would do the salt water gargle, regardless. Good luck!
