Why do I get burning sensation in my chest with my colitis

I also got a burning sensation & acid reflux during UC flare ups. I ended up being diagnosed with an ulcer in my esophagus. You should speak with your GI about getting an endoscopy done. Just like a colonoscopy, they put you to sleep. But they go down your throat.

You might be experiencing gastritis. An endoscopy diagnosed mine and I was put on a blocker, TECTA. Hope your doing well..
