Had a colonoscopy and stomach feels different
I’ve had UC for 11 years and feels like I don’t have it. After the colonoscopy my doctor said that’s the best my results have looked. That was 15 days ago. Ever since I have been feeling bloated, gas and burping. I’m taking gas x and it has been helping a little but not much. I called my doctor and she prescribed me a medicine. Could it be gas still stuck in my system or could it be something else?

, this is an interesting question! I'm not sure if it could still be gas stuck in your system. When you spoke to your doctor about it, did they make it seem as though that was a possibility? When I had a colonoscopy, I do feel like I had similar symptoms afterwards, for a couple days (mostly bloating and gas) but it did go away. I know you posted this a couple days ago. I have had similar symptoms after a colonoscopy, and since I've had so many I know it is because of the procedure. For me the symptoms would last around 10-20 days, but then would stop. Are you doing better these days? If not, definitely go in and see your doctor. There can be something else happening.
