Legal liability of someone allowing you to use toilet
A Crohn’s sufferer may need to use a toilet urgently. In UK, sufferers can have a card stating they have Crohn’s and may need to use a toilet. I belong to a dance group and today refused use of our facility to a member of the public with a child. His explanation was that 1) We could be liable should child have accident on the premises. 2) Everyone in the group would need to have a Criminal Record check if child present. Is this so?
