Hey this is Shamekka Marty aka Prettysicklupuschic. Lupus has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even before I was diagnosed, I was advocating for lupus in honor of my mother. She gave up her voice and I wanted to make sure that no one else would go through the same thing. So, when I was diagnosed it wasn't, "why me?" it was, "try me!" I have my website, podcasts, videos on YouTube, Facebook, and IG pages all under the same name! I show people every day that although we deal with this horrible yet unpredictable disease there is still plenty of life to live!
