crohns

if my inflammation is gone and my pain is less (maybe the flare up is over) could doctors still see something like crohn’s through pill cams, and other tests, or would it look normal since the flare up is gone, because i was in pain, they did test once the pain got a little better, and now say im fine sooo

  1. If it's Crohn's they will still see, at least that is my understanding. Have a conversation with your doctor about the Pill Cam Test and see what he/she says. I think it would be a good next step to rule out Crohn's.

    1. flares don't ordinarily go away without intervention with medication.

Yes, a lot of the time, evidence of the disease is still there; scarring and such, when disease is in remission.
