It is certainly understandable that you have questions about Humira, particularly in relation to use by a child. I can't personally speak on this issue, but I want to share with you this article on the study of the efficacy and safety of Humira in pediatric UC patients: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langas/article/PIIS2468-1253(21)00142-4/abstract. I also want to note that treatments have advanced quite a bit in recent years and that a full and happy life is absolutely possible for your son.
