Inflectra

It's been 7 days since my inflectra infusion and I can barely walk my legs are so sore I can barely sit I generally do not feel good at all is this normal so long after

  1. I'm so glad that you've reached out, , and I'm sorry to hear that your legs and so sore and you are not feeling good at all. While there certainly can be some side effects to inflectra (or any medication), I would say that if you're still feeling this crummy after a week it might be worth reaching out to your doctor just to check in and to be sure whether or not they want to see you. Your doctor or nurse can get more specific information from you and let you know if what you're experiencing should be expected, concerning, or something in between. Have you been on inflectra long? And is this a new type of reaction? Or have you just started it? It's always good to check in with your doctor if you're experiencing new and/or worsening symptoms. Please, if you're comfortable, keep us posted and I do hope you can get some answers and some relief! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

    1. Hi . If you have not already, you should report these issues to your doctor right away. Joint pain, general pain, and fatigue are considered common side effects of Inflectra (see: https://www.rxlist.com/inflectra-drug.htm ). That said, only a doctor can provide the proper diagnostics to make sure the drug is the cause. Plus, given the ongoing nature of these issues finding out is pertinent. Hoping you get some answers and relief soon. Best, Richard (Team Member)
