Tremfya financial assistance

I have ulcerative colitis, dr has now prescribed Tremfya. I’m in Medicare and my copay is $2k. Applied for financial aid and it’s taking forever! Been 3 weeks now and I get voicemails to call back, I do and stay on hold 1-2hours just to be asked same questions? Anybody been thru this? Any guidance would be appreciated

  1. Hi . Your frustration is more than understandable and many here understand the troubles with the costs of treatments. I want to share with you this article from our editorial team on managing healthcare expenses: https://inflammatoryboweldisease.net/resources-cost. I also want to note that out-of-pocket expenses for drugs under Part D of Medicare is capped at $2100 for 2026. Also, "No Medicare drug plan may have a deductible more than $615 in 2026. Some Medicare drug plans don’t have a deductible." You can read more about this on this Medicare site: https://www.medicare.gov/health-drug-plans/part-d/basics/costs. Hope this information is helpful and please feel free to keep us posted on how things are going and to ask further questions. Best, Richard (Team Member)
