ulcerative colitis dissappeared (2005) after taking paroxetine

Hello. I've had ulcerative colitis since 1999. When i wasnt hospitalized it was at home with constant IBS symptoms. In a Hail Mary move, my GP suggested trying paroxetine (an SSRI). Within 2 days, all IBS symptoms vanished and months later it became that UC had dissappeared as well. Today, 21 years later, I can confidently say that it has truly dissappeared.
